5 reviews for Lover’s Chai

This beautifully crafted blend combines Jasmine, rose petals, and lavender. I prepared it using water from the kettle and steeped for 5 minutes; next time, I plan to attempt a traditional Chai method on the stovetop with milk. The lavender flavor was the most prominent, which was ideal for me, complemented by a subtle ginger finish.

This was really good! I loved the floral notes in this. The floral in this chai really softened the spices, adding a delicate sweetness to this bold blend. It has the perfect amount of spice without being overpowering. It’s well balanced and so smooth. I added a splash of cream to it, and that made it even more delicious. A perfect blend of warm spices and gentle floral undertones. I think this one would be excellent as a stove top chai or iced chai!

I used 1 tsp of tea and steeped at 210° for 3 minutes.

From the very first sip, this tea wakes up your senses with its bold, spicy character. The blend is warming and full-bodied, with the spices lingering gently on your tongue. The black and white pepper bring an extra layer of depth, while the jasmine, rose, and lavender petals add a delicate floral note that softens and balances the spice.

The packaging suggests adding milk and sugar, but I chose to skip the sugar since I try to minimize it in my diet. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything—the spices themselves carry a natural sweetness that rounds out the cup. With milk, the flavors smooth together beautifully while still leaving a satisfying spicy finish.

It also makes an excellent cold-brew latte, where the spices mellow into a creamy, refreshing drink that still keeps its chai personality.

Lover’s Chai has all the comforting flavors you’d expect from a traditional chai, but with a unique twist from the pepper and floral ingredients. It’s bold, layered, and a tea I’d happily reach for when I want something both warming and naturally sweet.

I had the lover’s chai hot and cold, with and without milk. I enjoyed it most hot and with milk- in its most romantic stage 😜 but it was a quality all-around tea that was versatile and retained a nice flavor in whatever form I drank it. I am usually picky about my floral teas but the second it becomes balanced by a beautiful blend of chai spices, it becomes one of my favorites. This tea was no exception. It was smooth, floral, subtly spicy, and creamy. It was my clear favorite of the 3 teas provided by the brand and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I tried this one hot, hot with milk and cold-brewed. This is such a fragrant smelling chai. As a hot brew, this is such a bold chai. I was surprised at how much flavor this one had—it wasn’t watered down, I could taste the melange of spices, and the floral notes were such a great finish. So smooth, bold and ultra tasty. This is one of those teas that shines when you add milk—I loved how creamy this one became and how flavorful it remained. What a great tea to get you in that fall mood!

I also cold brewed this. Just like the last two teas I tried from The Real Mr. Tea, this is yet another cold-brew winner. I could taste more of the floral notes when cold-brewed, and that just made for a lovely drink!

    I adore this one!
