Café Ou Thé is a rich, satisfying blend for tea and coffee lovers alike, with a warmly roasted aroma and hints of cocoa and earthy pu-erh that give it an inviting café feel. The cup is dark and full-bodied, coffee forward lwith bold roasted notes balanced by smooth black tea and gentle cocoa warmth, making it energizing yet smooth and delicious plain or with a splash of milk. I was gifted this sample by the company in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This bold and creative blend seamlessly combines black tea and earthy pu-erh with rich cocoa, green coffee beans, and a touch of chamomile. The result is a layered, full-bodied cup with depth, gentle chocolate warmth, and an energizing finish. Though the dry aroma is strong, it transforms beautifully once brewed into a smooth, balanced experience. A perfect choice for anyone who loves the richness of coffee but still wants the complexity of tea.

This tea immediately caught my attention because it’s a mix of both tea and coffee. Honestly, it works so well. It’s strong and bold, which is exactly how I like my teas and coffees, but without being bitter or harsh. What I loved most was how balanced it felt. The coffee and tea give it that rich, energizing base, while the chamomile adds a really gentle, soft touch that smooths everything out. Nothing overpowers anything else, and all the flavors blend together beautifully. This was such a fun and different drink compared to my usual teas. It felt comforting and energizing at the same time, which isn’t easy to pull off. I really enjoyed it and would happily add this one to my tea stash for mornings when I want something a little stronger and more unique. Definitely a great choice if you enjoy bold flavors but still want something smooth and enjoyable.

Upon opening the pouch, there was a very fragrant coffee aroma that greeted me. Do you want something bold instead of a traditional pure breakfast blend? Do you enjoy coffee and tea? This tea might be up your alley, if so! This is a black tea + coffee blend that is wonderfully bold and super delicious. I do not particularly taste the chamomile; so, if that’s a flavor you don’t enjoy, I don’t really get it here. I really enjoy the black tea + puer base this one has, as it really amps up the coffee flavor. I wouldn’t say the puer is too overpowering or funky, it just adds a nice depth to the overall blend. With milk, this is where this blend shines! It turns the blend into a beautiful coffee-black tea dream. Very delicious, creamy, and a lovely afternoon pick-me-up. This would also make a great latte—hot or cold! This tea was gifted to me by the company, and I am providing my honest review.

As a fan of both coffee and tea. I appreciate the fusion. It has nutty aromatics and a robust flavor. The coffee pairs well with the Pu-erh tea. Add cream and it becomes smooth and brings out subtle hint of cocoa and the lingering sweetness of chamomile.

I love tea blends with coffee in it so I was really excited for this one! I first tried it plain. The pu-erh stands out the most with a slight coffee note. It was really bold and earthy. Next I tried it with milk and brown sugar. Adding the milk and brown sugar really turned this into a comforting, creamy treat. It mellowed the earthiness and enhanced the coffee and chocolate flavors. It actually was quite delicious this way! Incredible depth of flavor! Definitely a more balanced cup of tea. I really enjoyed this one! I used 2 tsp of tea, steeped at 200° for 3 minutes This tea was gifted to me by purveyor, but all opinions are my own.

Valentine’s is quickly approaching, Mr. Tea’s Café Ou Thé (Coffee or Tea) is the perfect gift or treat for yourself. Especially if you enjoy coffee, this is a luxurious blend of black tea, pu-erh, cocoa beans, green coffee beans, chamomile petals & ground coffee. There is a velvetiness to this tea that coats your mouth. I am not a coffee drinker nor have I ever been but I find the balance of tea and coffee lovely. The addition of the grassy, earthiness from the green coffee beans is similar to green tea but a bit more bright. I tried this tea three ways. Brewed and hot, brewed and hot with milk and lastly an iced latte. Each way was enjoyable, the addition of milk added to the smooth mouth feel and mellowed the tea a bit. This tea does have enough backbone to stand up to milk in a latte. Making it a rich and refreshing delicacy.

If you like coffee and like Pu-erh tea then this is your blend! I’m not actually a fan of either so this was one of those wild card options. My first sips were completely natural with no milk or sugar added, the flavor of both the coffee and tea was evident but the coffee did play center stage. But not being a coffee drinker with nothing added this wasn’t really my cup of tea. I added organic whole milk and a little sugar. Wow! What a difference, it really rounded out the coffee and enhanced the Pu-erh, so much so that sip on sip both felt in very equal measure and they both complimented the other. I bet this would be amazing made on the stovetop with milk and served as a latte.
