Oh my goodness… the aroma alone is enough to make you swoon. It’s a rich, deep chocolate scent that instantly feels cozy and indulgent — like walking into a kitchen where hot cocoa is simmering on the stove. I followed the package suggestion to add milk and used 2% organic milk. I skipped adding extra sugar because with the sugar sprinkles and white chocolate bits, I had a feeling it would be sweet enough — and I was absolutely right. No additional sweetness needed at all. This truly felt like drinking liquid chocolate. The combination of milk and melted white chocolate gave it such a creamy texture. It was indulgent and comforting, very much like a quality hot chocolate but with that lovely tea base adding depth. It’s one of those cups that makes you slow down and savor every sip. Next time, I’m absolutely topping it with whipped cream for the full café-style experience. This one is a chocolate tea lover’s dream. I was gifted this tea sample from The Real Mr. Tea in exchange for an unbiased review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Delightfully chocolatey in the nose. I tried a few sips without cream and then added some. The cream really brings out the flavor. It’s smooth and mildly sweet and chocolatey. The vanilla really stands out but no one flavor overpowers the other. I enjoyed it but I wanted it to be more chocolate forward. Keep in mind I’m a dark chocolate lover. A cozy tea that definitely brings me back to drinking hot cocoa as a kid. I received this tea in exchange for my honest review.

This blend feels like settling into the middle of a love story 🤎✨ Cozy, comforting, and deeply indulgent, it’s the kind of tea that invites you to slow down and stay awhile 🍫🧣 A smooth black tea base carries layers of chocolate and white chocolate bits, creating a rich, creamy cup that feels dessert-like without being too heavy 🤍🍫. Vanilla softens everything beautifully, while the gentle sweetness makes each sip feel warm and familiar. Added a touch of cane sugar syrup to really sweeten this cup. This is a perfect Valentine’s Day evening tea—or anytime you want tea time to feel intentional, comforting, and a little bit indulgent. Light a candle, take a deep breath, and enjoy the moment 💝🕯️

This tea was so good! The chocolate flavor was so delicious. I like that the black tea base was still present. It was smooth and well-balanced with no astringency. I really liked this one plain but it recommended to add milk to it and wow! What a treat! Adding the milk really enhanced the flavor profile, creating a velvety mouthfeel that perfectly complements the rich chocolate notes. I really enjoyed this one! Definitely give this one a try. This tea was gifted to me by purveyor, but all opinions are my own.

Hot chocolate in tea form?! Yes, please! This tea DELIVERED. Rich, creamy, decadent, and dessert-like. I drank it plain and it was incredible on its own, but I know it would also be delicious with milk and sugar too. The chocolate bits and sprinkles gave it a subtle sweetness on its own, and the black tea base was smooth; it paired well with chocolate and allowed the flavors to shine. I felt fancy and pampered while drinking it, and it made my workday all the more enjoyable.

This is a lovely dessert tea, but the number of stars I'd give it depends on how it is prepared. It seems that this was intended to be made with milk, even frothed, which I think is essential in this blend. Made pure, it is smooth and creamy and has a nice cocoa scent, but I found it to be a tad thin and muted when prepared that way. I recommend making this more concentrated and adding milk the way it was probably intended, and it instantly transforms into a rich, decadent dessert!

Upon the first smell of this lovely chocolaty Swiss hot Chocolate tea from Mr. tea I noticed a wonderful aroma of dried fruit and chocolate. The taste is warm and indulgent without being too heavy or sweet. It’s a lovely marriage of tea and chocolate without one over shadowing the other. I first tried it plain, which was lovely. And then I tried it with a bit of steamed milk. When adding the milk, it just takes it to that next level of decadence enhancing the creaminess. By adding the milk, it almost brings out a settled citrus flavor. Either way that you drink it it is the perfect tea for Valentine’s Day or any time you want a cup of something special and indulgent.

I brewed this tea 2 ways. 1) As directed at 210 for 5 minutes with a splash of milk. I liked this version but I was looking for something a little more "dessert" like so I tried 2) Brewed double strength for 5 minutes added a pinch of stevia sweetener, and frothed almond milk. This is the one that hit the sweet spot for "Swiss Hot Chocolate". Both versions were very enjoyable and not overly sweet. It still felt like drinking tea and not hot chocolate. A very delicious (mostly guilt free) treat. Just have to say "Ain't Your Granny's Tea"!

This blend is pure comfort. Delicious brewed plain or made with a water-and-milk mix for a creamy hot cocoa feel, it’s smooth, chocolatey, and fun. Comforting and indulgent with a gentle energy boost. Perfect for chocolate lovers.

Oh my goodness this really is chocolate heaven. I first tasted this tea black with no additions and it was delicious, a beautiful chocolate flavor without much guilt. (it isn’t fully guilt free as it does contain dark and white chocolate). But if you want to be a little bit wicked add a splash of organic whole milk and a little sugar and it takes this blend to a whole new level. It instantly turns into a delicious hot chocolate! I can only imagine it’s luxuriousness if it’s made on a stovetop with milk!
